Video Concept

Blue Whale is an explanatory 2D animation that highlights fascinating facts about this amazing creature, while shedding light on the threats they face from human activities like ship collisions and climate change. Through visuals and storytelling, it emphasizes the importance of protecting these incredible giants and their fragile ocean habitat.

The blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is the largest animal on Earth, reaching 100 feet in length and weighing up to 200 tons. Despite their size, they feed primarily on krill, consuming over three tons daily during peak seasons.

Blue whales migrate thousands of miles between polar feeding grounds and tropical breeding waters. However, rising shipping traffic increases the risk of fatal ship strikes. Additionally, climate change is reducing krill populations, threatening the whales' primary food source.

Protecting blue whales requires reducing ship traffic in key migration routes and addressing climate change. Supporting conservation efforts through donations or symbolic adoptions can help ensure their survival.
